The surgical principle of stable and unstable lumbal osteokondrozis

Abstract

In 1985-1992, 275 patients with lumbal osteokondrozis were treated. Plain spondylography in all patients, contrast myelography in 127 patients, CT scan in 35 patients were obtained. Patients were divided in 3 groups according to the radiologic findings. Treatment was chosen according to the groups mean follow up was ratring from 2 to 5 years. In 123 cases pain relieved completely while mild pain remained in lumbosacral area in 43 patients. 15 patients developed complication.
