Medial subtalar dislocation

Abstract

Between 1988 and 1992, three patients with medial subtalar dislocations were treated. The average follow up time was 36.3 months (13-73 mo.). Two of them were men and one was open dislocation. They were immediately reducted under general anaesthesia and immobilized with below knee cast for six-eight weeks. There were no neurological complications. The bone scans of the two patients showed increased density.
