Pedobarographic evaluation of ballet dancies

Abstract

We applied pedobarography technic on 49 ballet students of whom we had examined the foot deformities in regard to ballet technique. We saw pedobarography as an efficient method in analyzing gait, foot pressure, foot morphology and deformities like pes cavus, hallux valgus, splayfoot and callus. We conclued it will be more efficacious in a broad spectrum should its evaluation difficulty overcome and reliability increased.

Abstract

Konservatuarda bale eğitimi gören ve daha önce bale tekniği açısından ayak deformitelerini incelediğimiz 49 öğrenciye pedobarografi tekniğini uyguladık. Pedobarografinin yürüme, ayak basıncı, ayak morfolojisi ve pes kavus, halluks valgus, splayfoot nasır gibi deformitelerin analizinde faydalı bir metod olduğunu gördük. Pedobarografik değerlendirmenin zorlukları aşılıp güvenilirliği arttırılırsa geniş bir sahada daha fonksiyonel hale geleceği kanaatine vardık.
