Pelvis fractures (Consideration of relation between classification and results)
Abstract
High energy trauma usually causes pelvic fractures which can treat the victim's life. Several classification systems have been used for assesment of the pelvic fractures. In our study the pelvic fractures and their results were classified with Young classification system and Majeed's grading system respectively. The advantages of Majeed's grading system are ease of use and use of objective findings as far as possible. We concluded that Young classification system is a good and exact system to estimare the functional outcome of pelvic fractures.
