Abstract

Eighteen patients having distal femoral fractures that were treated by surgical methods were evaluated. Patients treated by open methods spent Iess time in the hospital, had better functional results. We evaluated our patients according to Muller classification; eigth A3, seven C2, two C3. We used AO condylar blade plates, dynamic condylar screw plates and May plates for maintaining reduction and obtained 14 good and 4 bad results according to criteria of Neer and associates.

Abstract

Cerrahi yöntemlerle tedavi edilmiş, femur distal uç kırıklı 18 hasta değerlendirildi. Cerrahi olarak tedavi edilmiş hastaların hastahane yatış sürelerinin kısalığı ve fonksiyonel sonuçların iyiliği dikkat çekici idi. HastaIarın sekizi Muller tip A3, yedisi tip C2 ve üçü tip C3 idi. Tedavide AO kamalı kondil plaklarını, dinamik kondiler plakları ve May plaklarını kullandık. Hastalarımızdan on dördünde başarılı klinik ve anatomik sonuç alırken dört vakamızda sonuç başarısız olarak değerlendirildi.
