Abstract

We operated a patient, who had traumatic loss of his right thumb, by Littler's pollicization technique in order to obtain functional and cosmetic results. The patient did not accept the transplantation of the first toe for the thumb before the operation. It was thought that neurovascular structures would be transferred easily and musculotendinous components were organized for good thumb function. After operation, acceptable thumb and hand function were obtained.

Abstract

Travmatik amputasyona bağlı sağ el l. parmak yokluğu nedeni ile başvuran ve ayaktan ele parmak transferi önerisini kabul etmeyen hastaya, fonksiyonel ve estetik fayda amacıyla Liftler yöntemine uygun olarak işaret parmağından pollisizasyon ameliyat: planlanıp gerçekleştirildi. Bu parmağın seçiminde nörovasküler yapıların daha kolay yer değiştirebileceği ve 1. parmak fonksiyonlarım en etkin şekilde sağlayacak çevre kas düzeninin verilebileceği düşünüldü. Hastada kabul edilir parmak ve el fonksiyonu elde edildi.
