Acute lateral ankle instabilities

Abstract

Acute ankle lateral injuries are one of the common problems seen by orthopedic surgeons.Recent advances support functional treatment that can be performed at lateral ligament injuries.It has been shown that patients can return to daily activities sooner by functional treatment than surgical procedures. If not appropriately treated, chronic functional and mechanical instability may become functional rehabilitation program is a favorable program that can apply for grade II and III injuries in order to prevent chronic functional and mechanical instability.
