Abstract

Total en-bloc calcanectomy was performed in a 36-year-old male patient with a giant cell tumor in his right calcaneus. A year after surgery, the patient had no complaints, and a good functional result was obtained. He was able to return to his work. No local or metastatic recurrences were encountered.

Abstract

Sağ kalkaneusta dev hücreli tümör saptanan 36 yaşındaki erkek hastaya total en-blok kalkanektomi uygulandı. Birinci yıl sonunda yapılan kontrolde hastanın herhangi bir şikayetinin olmadığı ve fonksiyonel sonucun iyi olduğu görüldü. Hasta işine geri dönebildi. Yapılan incelemelerde lokal veya metastatik herhangi bir nüks saptanmadı.
