Treatment of congenital dislocation of hip by medial approach

Abstract

Treatment of congenital dislocation of hip by medial approach in our hospital, the 38 hips of 26 patients with congenital dislocation of the hip were evaluated, which related by medial approach between January 1983 and April 1986, the advantages, complications and the results were reviewed with the other reports of authors and decided that the medial approach is an effective method for the treatment of the hips under the age of 2 year.
