Abstract

Closed flexible intramedullary nailing was used in 68 tibial shaft fractures. Twenty three were open fractures. No case of deep wound infection was encountered. There were two cases of delayed union all of the others went to union. There were three cases who had shown deformity. Although early weight-bearing is permitted we found only three cases of shortness.

Abstract

23 tanesi açık, 45 tanesi kapalı 68 tibia cisim kırığında Ender çivileriyle osteosentez yapıldı. 2 hastada kaynama gecikmesi, 3 hastada angülasyon teşekkülü gibi komplikasyonlara rastlandı. Hiç bir hastada derin enfeksiyon görülmedi. Erken yüklenmeye izin verilmesine rağmen ancak 3 hastada 1 cm'ye varan kısalık oluştu.
