Postoperative rehabilitation of the patients with congenital hip dislocation jere operated by radical reduction technique.

Abstract

Postoperative rehabilitation were applied to 22 hips of 17 patients with congenital hip dislocation, at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, after operated by the Radical Deduction Tecnique at The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Ataturk University. These patients were evaluated according to the criteria of the pain, range of motion. muscle testing. walking rate and the perfect rehabilitation programme provided the functional hip joint to the patient by increasing normal hip range of motion and muscle strength.
