THE VALUE OF BIARISON SUPTHERAPY IN ACUTE LUMBAR DISC PROTRUSIONS

Abstract

A serie of 58 patients with lumbar disc protrusions have been evaluated with their Symptomological Clinical and radiographic examinations. These patients were divided into two groups. Group I (43 patients) were treated with Biarison sup. 600-300 mg Per/day. Group II (15 patients) with the placebo sup. 43 patients were examined anol treated in a period of 6-12-18 days and the efficacy of Biarison sup. were compared with the findings determined by the control group II. In group I, the functional recovery in restricted movement was fount out to be between %76.1 - %100 and in group II between %33-60. In group I, 10 patients showed varions side-effects and they were important in 5, which had to be excluded from the study.

Akut Lomber Herni Diskal Olgularının Medikal Tedavisinde Biarisonun Yeri

Abstract

Klinik ve radyolojik otarak Lomber Herni Diskal tanısı konmuş olan olgularda 6-12-8 gün süren dönemlerde, Prouazone'nin 300'mg.lık Supoituar preparatları tedavide kullanıldı. Uygulamalar sonucu elde edilen değerlere göre, hastalarda saptanan fonksiyon kayıplarının %76.1-%100 arasinda iyileştiği, placebo grubunda ise bu oranın %33-60 arasında olduğu anlaşıldı. 58 hastadan oluşan araştırma grubumuzda 10 vakada muhtelif yan etkiler kaydedildi. Bunlardan 5 dişide tedavi zorunlu olarak durduruldu.
