Abstract

In this study, totally 163 feet have been examined in 92 cases with hallux valgus which were oparated upon in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the İstanbul Medical School during the years between 1966-1984. Mc Bride operation technique was applied in 16 of these cases, as a result of which took the second place with this number after the Keller operation procedure. In this report, attempts have been made to investigate the operative indications ond results of Mc Bride operation technique under the light of titerature.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalında 1966;1984 yılları arasında ameliyat edilen 92 Hallu/ Valguslu olgunun toplam 163 ayağı incelenmiştir. McBride ameliyatı bu olguların 16 tanesine uygulanmış ve bu sayı ile Keller ameliyatından sonra 2. sırayı almıştır. Bu yazıda literatür bilgileri ışığında McBride amileyat endikasyonları ve sonuçları araştırılmıştır.
