Abstract

Ccmplications, as well as their causes encountered in the surgical treatment of the subtrochanteric fractures of the femur have been revievved. Under the light of experience we have obtained from the cases treated in our clinic and of literature data, attempts hove been made to elucidate, depending on the biomechanical characterictics of the subtrochanteric region, the necessary precautions which should be taken to prevent these complications.

Abstract

Femur subtrokonterik kırıklarınm cerrahi tedavisinde karşılaşılan komplikasyonlar ve nedenleri gözden geçirildi. Kliniğimizde tedavi, gören olgulardan edindiğimiz deneylerin ve literatür bilgisinin ışığı altında, bu kompikasyonları önlemek için alınması gereken önlemler, subtrokanterik bölgenin biomekanik özelliklerine dayanılarak açıklığa kavuşturulmaya çalışıldı.
