Abstract

Attempts have been made to review 36 giant cell tumours treated surgicaly in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumotology of the İstanbul Medical School of İstanbul Universty, beetween 1970-1983 years and after making researchs in literature it has been found conviniend to report a giant cell tumour localized in cuboid bone of the foot as it is seen the first time both in literature and among our clinical cases.

Abstract

İ. Ü. İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalında 1970-1983 yılları arasında cerrahi tedavi ile tedavi edilmiş olan 36 giant-cell tümör olgusu gözden geçirilmiş ve literatür taraması yapılarak, gerek literatürde ve gerekse kliniğımiz vakaları içinde ayak küboid kemiğinde lokalize olmuş olan bir giant;cell tümör vakasına ilk kez rastlandığı için yayınlanması uygun görülmüştür.
