Abstract

We had the opportunity to investigate a case of lipomas which is know as one of the benign tumours of the soft tissue that no one has found such a big tumour in other parts of the human body has encountered such a big tumour of on extremity. That heredity plays part in the etiology of lipomas has been proposed. When loged in an extremity the lipomas give a characteristic radiologic image. At angiography increase in vascularisation and displacement of the vessels by the oval mass is typical. Treatment is by total surgical excision. We excised the mass totally and didn't face any early or late complicatlon.

Abstract

Yumuşak dokuyu tutan tümörler içinde selim olarak bilinen lipomlu bir olgumuz nedeniyle literatürden araştırdık. Son yılların yayınlarında ekstremitede yerleşen lipomlar içinde bizim olgumuz kadar büyük olanına hiç rastlamadık. Lipomların etiopatogenezinin herediter olduğu ileri sürülmektedir. Eksiremitede yerleşen lipomların direkt ve endirekt radiogramion kendilerine has bir görüntüye sahiptir. Tedavi total cerrahi eksizyondur. Biz kitleyi total olarak çıkardık ve postoperatif erken ve geç komplikasyon tespit etmedik.
