Anterior compartment syndrome and the significance of early fasciotomy

Abstract

Between the years of 1975-1980 there has been seen 6 anterior tibial syndrome in our clinic. In two cases for which fasiotomie was applied first 6 hours, the result was very good and fasiotomie places had ben closed by themselves. For the 3 cases postfasiatomie was applied with in 12-48 hours and among these 3 the, 2 there were seen 10 dorsal flexion loss and tor the third on there was seen ankle arthrodes and closed by ticrsch. For the patient who applied come 21 days after the accident, on amputation obove knee was necessary. As a result it can be said that for curing without waiting just after early diognosis if it the cases fasiotomie is necessary.
