Abstract

An attempt has been made to assess accidents as regards to human bealth, cuhich accupy a significant place socially. In this assessment general epidemiologic procedures, that is factors such as host, effect and environment, have been stated to provide great facilities in the analyses of accidents and offer solutions for the classification of the accidents, accidents at home, traffic accidents and work accidents have been stressed upon and education, technical psecantions and methods of application have been described regarding safeguard for these accidents. A statistical review has been presented covering the last 8 years of the pediatric Orthopaedic of the İzmir state Hospital concerning the above subject.

Abstract

Toplum yönünden önemli bir yer tutan kazaların insan sağlığı açısından değerlendirilmesi yapıldı. Bu değerlendirmede genel epidemioloji metodlarının yani konakçı, etken ve çevre faktörlerinin kaza analizlerinde ve kaza sorunlarının çözümlenmesinde büyük kolaylıklar sağladığı belirtildi. Kazaların sınıflandırılmasında ev kazaları, trafik kazaları ve iş kazaları üzerinde duruldu. Bunlar üzerine alınacak korunmada, eğitim, teknik tedbir ve uygulama metodları ifade edildi. Konu ile ilgili İzmir Çocuk Hastanesi Ortopedi Kliniğinin son 8 yılı içeren istatistiki bir çalışma verildi.
