Abstract
Total elboww replacement is rarely indicated in the young, and reported cases are few. An interesting case investigated radiologically and through E.M.G. Studies is presented and discussed for its clinical and surgical aspects. The main purpose of the procedure is the attainment of a stabile and mobile joint with relief of semptoms. The motion of the elbow were demonstrated and assessed clinically by -Neutral nul- and -S.F.T.R.- methods. Dee's posthests and operative technique were utilized and active and passive movement begun in the early postoperative period. In the end of the first year follow up complete healing was observable and no pathological changes detectable by E.M.G.

Dirsekte total eklem değişimi, genç yaşta endikasyonu ender olduğundan klinik, radyolojik, teknik ve EMG tetkiki ile incelenmiştir. Son yıllarda ve daha önceki yıllarda genç yaşta total dirsek eklemi değişimine rastlanılmamıştır. Total dirsek eklemi değişiminin amacı hareketli bir eklem, stabil bir dirsek ve ağrının ortadan kalkmasıdır. Biz total dirsek eklemi değişiminde DEE'nin protezini ve ameliyat tekniğini uyguladık. Aktif pasif hareketlere erken devrede başladık. Bir yıllık takibi sırasında klinik ve radyolojik herhangi bir komplikasyona raslanmamıştır. EMG de patolojik bulgu görülmemiştir.
