Dermatomyositis ossificans and treatment problems

Abstract

Dermatomyositis ossificans is a highly infrequent disease among callogenosis, The therapeutical problems involved in the dermatomyositis ossificans have not been so far adecfuately solved. Generally, dermatomyositis has a poor prognosis. It is not easy to attain a concrete recovery with prolonged orthopaedical methods of treatment in patients with a resultant of extreme dysfunctioning. Early or late contractures with cause the patient to progress to a severe form of disability. Therefore, in order for the patients to be rehabilitated to some extent, it seems penticulariy significant for us here to apply orthopaedical methods of treatment early.
