Bu çalışmada Diyarbakır Üniversitesi Tıp Faküitesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniğinde, 1972-1977 yılları arasında yatırılarak osteosentez yapılan, kurşunla oluşan 36 ait ekstremite açık kırığı ele alınmış ve tedavi sonuçları tartışılmıştır. Komplikasyonların nedenleri üzerinde durulmuş, seçilen vakalarda osteosentezin yapılabileceği sonuçuna varılmıştır.
