Öz

Doğum travmasma bağlı olan epifiz ayrılmaları ender ortaya çıkarlar, ama prognoz yönünden önem kazanmaktadırlar. Bir yeni doğanın distal temur epifizindeki, spontan anatomik rekonstrüksiyon gösteren bir separasyon açıklandı. Böyle epifizer ayrılmalarda, kemik gelişme potansiyelini içeren büyüme kıkırdağının epifizer bölgeye bağlı olarak kalmasi oldukça ilginç olarak görünmekte ve bu durum iyileşmenin sonucu yönünden önemli bir rol oynamaktadır.
