The surgical treatment of the recurrent anterior dislocations of the shoulder joint by capsuioraphy technique

Abstract

A serie of sixteen patients (all male) with recurrent anterior dislocations of the shoulder are presented in this paper. All cases were treated with PUTTI-PLATT (Capsuloraphy) technique with OSMOND-CLARKE modification. The most important predisposing cause of recurrent dislocatlon of the shoulders are inadequate immobilization in the VELPEAU casts which were applied right after of the closed reductions. This point emphasized particulariy. In general acceptance is that the reduction should be done as much as early and immobilization in VELPEAU cast at least 3 weeks. We believe that if the cases are treated in this way, recurrent dislocations are decreased in minimal amount.

Abstract

Bu yazıda omuz ekleminin rekurrent öne çıkıklarında kliniğimizde uygulanan cerrahi yöntemin -Kapsülorafi- teknik ayrıntılarına kısaca değinilerek, bu konudaki diğer taraftar bulmuş bazı teknikler sadece isim olarak ve özet şeklinde vermişlerdir. Ayrıca 1968-1976 yılları arasında servisimizde bu yöntemle tedavi gören hastalarımızdan takip edebildiğimiz 16 sını çeşitli özellikleri ile, tedavi sonuçlarıyla takdim etmeye çalıştık. Bu amaçla tablo, şekil ve vakaların fotoğraflarından örnek verilmesini uygun gördük. Son bölümde ise omuz ekleminin rekurrent öne çıkıklarında yetersiz tedavi ve tesbitin sorumlu olduğu savunulan bir disküsyon ilave edilmiştir.
