Increase of femoral anteversion by sitting posture
Abstract
116 hips of 58 children whom walks with internal rotation of the fore foot are examined. Their history revealed that 32 patients had postures TV sitting 15 patients praying sitting, 10 patients were sleeping face down. Femoral anteversion were measured by Dunlap method in 34 patients. Their average degree of femoral anteverslon was found to be significantiy higher than normal average of some age groups. Treatment of femoral anteversion corried out according to associated defort. Mities and the results are reported.
