Abstract
Traurnatic shoulder dislocation is most commonly occured as compared with all other of dislocations. Because of anatomic feature of the shoulder joint and it has been much more exposed to trauma. The great part of the stability of joint is formed by capsul around the bone structure, tendons and muscles. 30 traumatic shoulder dislocations were treated and followed in our clinic between the years of 1970-1976. Under the light of literature knowledge and with the results of our cases, pathomechanics of the shoulder dislocation, types of dislocations, soft tissue injuries associated with dislocation induded joint structure and stability, injuries of bone structures of the joint which were occured together were examined and the methods of treatment and their results were discussed.

Abstract
Travmatik omuz çıkığı bütün çıkıklara oranla en sık görülenidir. Nedeni, omuz ekleminin anatomik yapısının özelliği ve travmalara daha çok maruz kalmasıdır. Eklem stabilitesinin büyük kısmını kemiksel yapı etrafındaki kapsül, tendon ve kaslar oluşturur. 1970-1976 yılları arasında kliniğimizde 30 travmatik omuz cıkığı vakasının tedavisi ve takibi yapıldı. Vakaların sonuçları ve literatür bilgisi ışığı altında omuz çıkığının patomekaniği, tipleri, çıkıkla beraber ortaya çıkan eklem yapısına ve stabilitesine dahil yumuşak dokuların yaralanmaları, eklemi oluşturan kemiksel yapıların birlikte yaralanmaları incelendi, tedavi metodları ve sonuçları tartışıldı.
