Abstract

The treatment of the tibia diaphysis fractures with Küntscher nail method is preferable because of its successfull results. This operative treatment can be done with open or close style. When the nail is stuck with an open method infection may occur and even the bone ends can't build callus but with close method the fracture ends do not get contect with outside and don't get trauma so complications don't appear. The stability in fracture ends is exact and strong for that reason patients can regain their activity in a short time. The close nailing can be done with the help of distarctor. During the ten recent years the treatments of 25 tibia diaphysis fractures with Küntscher nail are shown on the diagram 8 close nail and 17 open nail two of open nail cases have shown infections.

TİBİA DİAFİZ KIRIKLARININ KÜNTSCHER ÇİVİSİ İLE TEDAVİSİ

Abstract

Tibia diafiz kırıklarının Küntscher çivisi ile tedavisi başarılı sonuç vermesi bakımından tercih edilen bir metoddur. Ancak çivilemede enfeksiyon ve kırık uçlarının kaynamaması komplikasyonlarına sıklıkla rastlandığı halde kapalı çivilemede fragman uçları dış ortamla temasa gelmediği ve travmatize olmadığı için bu tip komplikasyonlara rastlanmaz. Kırık uçlarındaki stabilite tam ve sağlam olduğundan hastalar çok kısa bir zamanda aktif hayata dönerler. Kapalı çivileme distraktör yardımıyla yapılabilir. Son 10 yıl içinde kliniğimizde Küntscher çivisi ile tedavi edilen 25 tibia diafiz kırığı ve neticeleri tablo halinde gösterilmiş, 8 kapalı çivileme dışındaki 2 vak'ada enfeksiyon çıktığı belirtilmiştir.
