Abstract

In this study the methods and principies of the treatment for the non-union of the tibial shaft with infection are studied. 19 cases of non-union were operated after the all signs if infection disappeared. In the 6 of these 19 cases (%31,6) infection reappeared after the operation. 3 of these reinfections were healed in 6 months by conservative treatment. In other 3 cases failed to heal despite of all effords. This showed that how difficult is the treatment of tibial shaft non-unions with the presence of old infections.

TİBİA DİAFİZİNDE İNFEKSİYON PSÖDARTROZLARI VE TEDAVİSİ

Abstract

Çalışmada, tibia diafizi infeksiyon psödartrozları ve bunlarda uygulanan tedavi metodları ve prensipleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, evvelce bir infeksiyon geçirmiş, halen infeksiyon belirtisi göstermeyen 19 vakalık bir seride, infeksiyon geçiren alanda uygulanan ameliyatlardan sonra reinfeksiyon görülmesi konusunda araştırma yapılmış ve bunun sonucu bildirilmiştir. 19 vakadan 6 tanesi (%31,6) reinfeksiyon saptanmış ve bunun 3 tanesinde, infeksiyon, konservatif tedavi ile 6 ay içinde önlenmiştir. Diğer 3 vakada ise, bütün girişimlere rağmen şifa sağlanamamıştır. Bu sonuç, eskiden geçirilmiş infeksiyon alanında yapılacak girişimlerin ne kadar tehlikeli olacağını açıkça ortaya koymuştur.
