Küntscher's method in the fractures of humerus

Abstract

The positive results of KÜNTSCHER's intramedullary nailing in the fractures of diaphysis of humerus have been reviewed under the light of literature in this article of ours and the superiority of this method has been discussed. It has been proved that the KÜNTSCHER method used in the fractures of humerus operated in our clinic during the years of 1963 and 1973 was found out to be more successful functionally and anatomically compared to the other methods.
