Pelvic resections in the treatment of malignant bone tumors

Abstract

In this clinical prospective study performed at our ... clinic between 1990-1995, the surgical and adjuvant treatment results of 14 primary malignant bone tumors located in pelvis were evaluated. Outcome of pelvic tumors are not as satisfactory as those located at extremities, because of the absence of anatomic barriers, and delay in diagnosis.
