Abstract

In this clinical prospective study performed at our ... clinic between 1990-1995, the surgical and adjuvant treatment results of 14 primary malignant bone tumors located in pelvis were evaluated. Outcome of pelvic tumors are not as satisfactory as those located at extremities, because of the absence of anatomic barriers, and delay in diagnosis.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada kliniğimizde 1990-1995 yılları arasında pelviste lokalize 14 primer malign kemik tümörlü olgunun tedavi sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Gerek cerrahi gerekse adjuvan tedavi sonuçları ekstremitelerde lokalce malign tümörler kadar başanlı olmamıştır. Bunda en büyük neden olarak pelvisin anatomik yapısı ve tümörün geç olarak tanınması gösterilmiştir.
