El bileği fleksör tendonlarında tüberküloz tenosinovit: Olgu sunumu

Abstract

Nadir bir tüberküloz formu olan ekstrapulmoner tüberkülozun gerek tanı, gerekse tedavisi zordur. Bu çalışmada eklem dışı tüberküloz tenosinoviti olan 45 yaşında bir hastayı değerlendirdik. Hastanın şikayetleri, De Quervain hastalığını ve karpal tünel sendromunu taklit ediyordu. Hastada patolojik tanı sonrası 6 aylık antitüberküler kemoterapi ile iyileşme sağlandı.

Tuberculosis tenosynovitis of the flexor tendons in the wrist: a case report

Abstract

Extra-pulmonarytuberculosis is a rare form of tuberculosis that can pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. We report a case of extra-articular tuberculosis tenosynovitis in a 45-year immunocompetent patient. The symptoms of the patient mimicked De Quervain’s disease and carpal tunnel syndrome. Following pathological confirmation of the diagnosis, the patient recovered following a six-month antitubercular chemotherapy.
