The results of traumatic posterior fracture-dislocations of the hip

Abstract

Of 23 patients posterior traumatic fracture-dislocations of the hip. 16 were treated by closed reduction: 6 were by closed reduction followed by open reduction and internal fixation; one as undergone by total hip replacement. Results were classified according to Thomposon-Epstein and Merle D’Aubıgne who have diffterent evaluation criteria than each other, and then comparet. End-results have changed according to type of fracture and treatment, but there was no significant difference after having an evaluation of two different classification

Abstract

23 travmatik posterior kalça çıkığı ve kırıklı çıkığının 16'sı kapalı redüksiyon. 6'sı kapalı redüksiyonu takiben yapılan gecikmiş açık redüksiyon ve internal fiksasyon metodu ile tedavi edildi ve bir kalçaya total kalça protezi yerleştirildi. Hastaların ortalama takip süresi 28 ay idi. Sonuçlar farklı kriterlere sahip olan Thompson-Epstein ve Merle Q'Aubigne sınıflamalarına göre değerlendirildi ve mukayese edildi. Nihai sonuçlar kırığın tipine ve tedavinin şekline göre değişiyordu ancak farklı iki sınıflamaya göre yapılan değerlendirmede belirgin bir fark görülmedi.
