In this study, we have evaluated diagnostic accuracy of high resolution computed tomography in detection of the knee meniscallesions. Our study group were consisted of 87 patients. All of this had been evaluated by CT, arthroscopy/arthrotomy. In 72 of the cases CT showed consistent result with arthroscopy/arthrotomy (82%). False results were seen posterior horn of medial menisküs. In our opinion doubtfull cases must be detected by combination with other diagnostic methods namily artrograpy and arthroscopy. We have found high accuracy with CT in the diagnosis of the knee meniscallesions.
Bu çalışmada diz eklemi menisküs yırtıklarının tanısında yüksek rezolusyonlu BT ile yapılan incelemelerin etkinliği ve güvenirliliğini prospektif bir araştırmada değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Araştırma gurubumuz 87 hastayı içermekteydi. Tüm hastalar BT incelemesi sonrasında artroskopi/artrotomi ile yeniden değerlendirildi. 72 hastada BT, artroskopi/artrotomi ile uyumlu sonuçlar göstermiştir (%82). Yanılgıların çoğunun menisküs arka boynuzuna lokalize lezyonlarda görülmesi, bu tip şüpheli lezyonlarda BT'nin diğer tanı yöntemleri -artrografi, artroskopi- ile kombine edilmesinin uygun olacağını düşündürmüştür. Uygun inceleme tekniği ile yapıldığında BT menisküs lezyonlarının tanısında etkin ve güvenilir bir yöntem olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
