In this text, we debate the value of distal radius fractures with one year follow-up results of 59 wrists belonging to 56 patients treated in our clinic in the first half of 1991. We concluded that the surgical therapy is especially indicated for deplaced, intraarticular, comminuted fractures (Frykmann type V, VI, VII, VIII) of the distal radius regarding the late results.
Bu yazımızda kliniğimize 1991 yılı ilk altı ayında başvuran ve konservatif metod ile tedavi edilen 56 vakaya ait 59 el bileğinin 1 yıllık takip sonuçları ışığında ve literatür incelemesi ile radius distal uç kırıklarında konservatif tedavinin yerini inceledik. Sonuç olarak, özellikle eklemiçi, deplase ve parçalı (Frykmann tip V, VI, VII, VIII) kırıklarda cerrahi tedavinin geç sonuçlar açısından endike olduğuna karar verdik.
