The use of gliding surfaced flaps on soft tissue defects of the forearm and the hand

Year 1993, Volume: 27 Issue: 1, 15 - 17, 11.09.2006

Abstract

The aim of the reconstruction of sofllissue defects of the forearm and the hand with either exposed or injured bones and lendons should be 10 supply similar lissue to the defect and to keep the function as much as possible. 25 patients with similar condilions described above were treated in Şişli Etfal Hospital Plastic and Reconstruclive Surgery Clinic between 1986-1991. The treatment methods applied are calegorized in 3 groups; dislant culaneous flaps, distant fascia-cutaneous flaps and local fascia-culaneous flaps wilh reversed ufnar or radial arterial pedicules. The hospitalization time, the number of operative interventions and functional and aeslhetic outcomes are considered. The conclusion is the reversed pedicled Iocal fascio-cutaneous flap techniques were superior to the other techniques.

Ön Kol ve Elin Yumuşak Doku Defektlerinde Kayma Yüzeyi Sağlayan Flepler

Year 1993, Volume: 27 Issue: 1, 15 - 17, 11.09.2006

Abstract

Ön kol ve elde eklem, kemik ve tendon yaralanmalarının eşlik ettiği veya bu yapıların açığa çıktığı yumuşak doku defektlerinin onarımında, defekti örtecek dokunun kaybolan dokuya benzer özelliklerde olması ve fonksiyonların korunmasına katkıda bulunması esastır. 1986-1991 yılları arasında Şişli Etfal Hastanesi Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi Kliniği'nde yukarıda belirtilen özelliklere sahip 25 olgu tedavi edildi. Olgulara 3 grup halinde uzak deri flepleri, uzak fasya deri flepleri ve ters akımlı ulnar veya radial arter pediküllü lokal fasya deri flepleri uygulandı. Olguların hastanede yatış süreleri, uygulanan girişim sayısı, fonksiyonel ve estetik sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde ters akımlı lokal fasya fleplerinin diğer yöntemlerden üstün olduğu görüldü.
