Osteogenic induction with electromagnetic fields: Experimental work and clinical application

Abstract

We producted signal generator and magnetic coils, entirely in our country's. possibilities (conditions), to apply electromagnetic fields in nonunion treatment. Whether the electromagnetic field is suitable to the desired criteria was evaluated according to the physical calculations and experimental resuts. Altough a total of 7 cases showed improved radiological changes, 5 cases had positive clinical results.

Elektromanyetik alanlar ile osteojenik indüksiyon (Deneysel çalışma ve klinik uygulama)

Abstract

Elekromanyetik alanların nonunion sağaltımında uygulanması amacı ile bütünüyle ülkemiz olanakları içinde sinyal üretici, manyetik bobinler oluşturuldu. Manyetik alanın istenilen kriterlere uygunluğu deneysel olarak ve fiziksel hesaplamalar ile saptandı. Alanda ve kemik üzerinde indüksiyon akımların ölçümleri yapıldı. Ülkemizdeki ilk elektromanyetik alan sağaltım uygulanması yapıldı. Toplam 7 olguya uygulanan manyetik alan stimülasyonunda bütün olgularda olumlu radyolojik sonuçlar elde edilmesine rağmen, 5 olguda olumlu klinik sonuçlar elde edildi.
