Making physical examination and taking two-directed radiographies, we learned about morphology and deformities of the feet of 49 ballet students and evaluated these-sometimes worrying-deformities in regard to ballet technique. We concluded that non-congenital deformities frequently seen at ballet dancers are mainly related with false positions in plié and pointe, lack of deformity-with the exception of pes planus that seems to become normal through ballet education-and true foot type are factors to regard in ballet student selecton girls have some deformities more than boys because they often begin ballet before school and only they play pointe so it's important to play this position in true level.
Konservatuarda bale eğitimi gören 49 öğrencinin ayak muayenesi ve çift yönlü ayak radyografileriyle ayak yapı ve deformitelerini tespit ettik ve şikayetlere yolaçabilen bu deformitelerin bale tekniği ile ilgisini araştırdık. Bale dansçılarında sık rastlanan ve doğuştan olmayan deformitelerde asıl sebebin plié ve pointe'teki yanlış duruşlar olduğu; baleyle normal hale gelebildiği gözlenen pes planus dışında - deformite yokluğu ve uygun ayak tipinin bale öğrencisi seçiminde dikkate alınması gerektiği; kızların bazı deformitelere daha fazla sahip olmasında parmakucunda dans etmelerinin payı olduğu ve parmakucunda dansa erken geçmemenin bu yönde bir tedbir olabileceği kanaatine vardık.
