Abstract

Although hydatid disease is located in many organs it is rarely seen in skeleton muscles. Seeing a hydatid case located in biceps femoris muscle of 45 year old female, we decided to remember the diagnosis and treatment of this rare disease, which must be considered in differential diagnosis of soft tissue masses.

Abstract

Hidatik kist, vücudun bir çok önemli organında yerleşim göstermesine karşın, iskelet kısmında oldukça nadir görülür. 45 yaşında bayan hastanın, sol biseps femoris kasında yerleşim gösteren kist hidatik olgusu nedeniyle yumuşak doku kitlelerinin ayırıcı tanısında akla gelmesi gereken bu nadir hastalığın tanı ve tedavisini literatür ışığında gözden geçirdik.
