Abstract
Arthroscopic results of 1279 cases with traumatic knee pathology were evaluated which were seen in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Medical School of Akdeniz University between the years of 1983-1994. The patients were divided into two groups as Sports Induced Trauma (Group 1) 168 (13.1%) and Others (Group 11) 1111 (86.9%). The cases were between the ages of 6-74 (mean 33.87) years and 428 (33.5%) of them were 20-29 years old. In both groups, medial meniscus Iesion (MML) was the most frequent pathology (39.01%) at physical examination. Lateral meniscus (LML) and anterior cruciate Iigament (ACL) Iesion were accompained at the arthroscopic procedure and chondromalasia was the common Iesion associated with them. In this study percentage of association of meniscus, ACL and cartilage Iesion were shown. At the arthroscopic procedure it was seen that in the first group ACL injury rate was 2.5 times more than the others and associated Iesion were in an increased Ievel. It was concluded that in traumatic knee joint accompanied injuries of intraarticular structures have shown a high incidence.

Abstract
1983-1994 yılları arasında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda uygulanan 1279 travmatik diz eklemi artroskopi sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Olgular spor aktivitesi sırasında yaralanma geçiren (ST) 168 (% 13.1) ve spor dışı travma (SDT) 1111 (%86.9) şeklinde iki ayrı grupta incelenmişlerdir. 6.74 (ort. 33.87) yaşındaki olguların 428 (%33.5)'i 20-29 yaş grubunda yer almaktadır. Her iki grupta ön tanıda en fazla medial menisküs Iezyonu (MML) (%39.01) olduğu gözlenmiştir. Artroskopik tanıda ise, Iateral meniskus (LML) ile ön çapraz bağ (OÇB) Iezyonunun sıklıkla birlikte oluştuğu bulunmuştur. Lezyonlara en fazla eşlik eden patolojinin travmatik kıkırdak yaralanmaları ve kondromalazi olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmamızda menisküs, ön çapraz bağ ve kıkırdak Iezyonlarının beraberlikleri % değer olarak gösterilmiştir. Artroskopi sonucunda ST grubunda ön çapraz bağ Iezyonunun (OÇB) diğer gruba oranla 2.5 kat daha fazla olduğu ve lezyonların blrlikte görülme oranlarında da belirgin bir artış saptanmıştır. Travmatik diz ekleminde intraartiküler yapıların beraber yaralanmaların yüksek oranda görüldüğü sonucuna varılmıştır.
