Abstract
A series of 31 spinal cord neurofibromas was analyzed for clinical findings, surgical technic, and outcome. The tumors presented primarily with pain and sensory symptoms. Plain films were abnormal in 1/4 of cases. The most frequent tumor locations were thoracic region (58%) and cervical region (42%). According to operative findings, tumors were found to be completely intradural and extradural in 3 (10%). Pain had complete relief in (80%) of the patients postoperatively. In comparison to operative motor function in (60%) of the patients had complete recovery in the postoperative period.

Abstract
31 olguluk spinal nörofibroma serisi klinik bulguları, cerrahi teknik ve sonuçlar yönünden incelenmiştir. Olguların hepsinde ilk semptom ağrı ve uyuşma olup direkt grafide 1/4'ünde patolojik bulgu saptandı. Bölgelere göre dağılıma bakıldığında olguların %58'i dorsal, %42'si servikal bölgede yerleşimli ve 28 tanesi (%90) intradural, 3 tanesi (%10) intradural-ekstradural lokalizasyonlu idi. Ağrı ameliyat sonrası hastaların %80'inde kayboldu. Ameliyat öncesi tam motor fonksiyon kaybı olanların ise %60'ında ameliyat sonrası erken dönemde tam düzelme görüldü.
