A hydatid disease located to left femur

Abstract

The hydatid cyst which extended from the basis of left femur neck to the supracondylar area and had multiple cystic lesions was treated surgical operation, currettage was applied after the cortex of lateral femur was lifted 1 cm. along diaphysis, then irrigation with hypertonic saline solution (%20) and normal saline solution at 90¡C was done and bone cement application was performed. In this case report, the diagnosis, surgical and medical treatment results of a left femur hydatid cyst were presented.

Sol femur yerleşimli bir kist hidatik olgusu

Abstract

Kist hidatiğe bağlı olarak sol femur boynu basisinden suprakondiler seviyeye kadar uzanan, kortekste yer yer genişleme ve inceleme oluşturan ve multipl kistler içeren lezyon, cerrahi ve ardından kemoterapi uygulanarak tedavi edilmiştir. Cerrahi işlemde, femur lateral korteksi diafiz boyunca 1 cm genişliğinde kaldırıl-dıktan sonra küretaj yapılmış, %20'lik hipenonik saline solusyunu ile ve 90°C ısıda normal salin salusyonuy'la irrigasyon yapılmış daha sonra da kemik çimentosu uygulanmıştır. Bu makalede, sol femur kist hidatiği olgusunun tanı, cerrahi ve medikal tedavi sonuçları sunulmuştur.
