Elbow is one of the most stable joints of the body. Medial instability of the elbow is more frequent than lateral instability. The term posterolateral rotatory instability of the elbow may be used, if its special test, described by O’Driscoll, is positive. Anatomical reason for this instability is injury of the radial and ulnar branches of the lateral collateral ligament. Cubitus varus deformity is a predisposing condition for this instability. We hereby report, a patient, which was treated surgically because of posterolateral rotatory instability of the elbow associated with cubitus varus.
