On sekiz yaşında kadın hasta yaklaşık altı-yedi yıldır taban çökmesi nedeniyle tedavi görmekteydi. Pes planusa yönelik tedaviyle sonuç alınamayınca, bilgisayarlı tomografi ve manyetik rezonans görüntüleme ile ileri incelemeler yapıldı ve sağ ayakta fleksör digitorum brevis yerleşimli hemangiom saptandı. Kitle marjinal eksizyonla tümüyle çıkartıldı. Ameliyat sonrasında hastanın sağ ayağında ağrı şikayeti kayboldu; hasta 2.5 yıldır şikayetsiz olarak yaşamını sürdürmektedir.
An eighteen year-old female patient had been receiving therapy for pes planus. Upon the persistence of her symptoms, further investigations were made by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging and a hemangioma was detected localized in the flexor digitorum brevis muscle. The mass was totally resected with a marginal excision. The patient’s complaint of pain in the right foot disappeared after surgery and during a follow-up period for 2.5 years.
