In this study we have reviewed 66 hips of 48 cases with congenital disiocation of the hip, treated from 197 through 1985 by functional reduction, in Orthopaedic and Traumalotogical Surgery Depariment of Uludağ University. Following tne retrospective analysis of patients, the rate ofavascular necrosis found as % 7,5. By comparison our results with other literatures, we also found that functional reduction is a useful method which reduces avascular necrosis of femoral head in the treatment of congenital dislocation of the hip.
Bu araştırmada 1979-1985 yılları arasında, Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalında, Fonksiyonel redüksiyon yöntemi ile tedavi edilen 48 Doğuştan Kalça Çıkıklı olgunun 66 kalçası incelenmiştir. Olguların retrospektif incelemesi sonucu avasküler nekroz oranı % 7,5 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçların çeşitli literatürlerle karşlaştırılmasıyla, Doğuştan Kalça Çıkığı tedavisinde Fonksiyonel Redüksiyonun femur başı avasküler nekroz oranını azaltan, faydalı bir yöntem olduğu kanısına varılmıştır
