TRANSFER OF THE ILIO-TIBIAL TRACT AND BONE BLOCK IN TREATMENT OF THE ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT IN SUFFIENCY

Year 1985, Volume: 19 Issue: 4, 360 - 370, 27.11.1985

Abstract

The anterior distal part of the ilotibial tract with on attached bone block from Gerdy's tubercle was used as an intra-articular graft firmly fixed by a screw torthe knees which were followed for eighteen months. No other ligament procedures were performed simultaneously. At follow up stability was improved and the result was rated good or excellent in thirteen of the sixteen knees. The operation is applicable to the majority of the chronic laxitieS of the knee and, because the postoperative care is much simplified and the rehabilitation time is much shorter. The procedure is contraindicated when there is posterioror or single plane lateral laxity.

Ön Çapraz Bağ Yetersizliğinin Tedavisinde Kemik Bloklu İliotibial Bant Transferi

Year 1985, Volume: 19 Issue: 4, 360 - 370, 27.11.1985
