THE IMPORTANCE OF DOUBLE CONTRAST ARTHROGRAPHY IN MENISCAL TEARS

Abstract

In our clinic, double contrast knee arthrography were performed in 108 patients who have suspected meniscal pathology, in between January 1983 and September 1984. After examination of the arthrograms, 98 torn meniscus were detected in 108 knees, 48 of them were operated and 45 torn meniscus were found in 48 knees. Our accuracy to 93% with arthrography.

Abstract

1983 yılı başından 1984 yılı Eylül ayı sonuna kadar şüpheli meniskopati bulgusu olan 108 hastaya çift kontrast artrogrofi yapılmıştır. Artrografik inceleme sonunda 98 olguda meniskopati tespit edilmiş, ameliyat edilen 48 olgudan 45 inde menisküsler yırtık bulunmuştur. Artrografılk inceleme ameliyat sonu bulgularla karşılaştırıldığında doğruluk oranı %93 olarak bulunmuştur.
