Abstract

Bipoler endoprotezler, klasik femoral endoprotezlere bir seçenek olarak son yıllarda giderek ortan bir yoğunlukta kullanılmaktadır. Ancak bu protezlerin birçok üstünlükleri yanında, protezde mevcut çift hareket komponentinden birinin zamanla kaybolduğu iddiası tartışmalara yol açmaktadır. Ortalama 17 ay takip edilen 14 olgumuzda ameliyat sonrasi dönemde her iki komponent hareketi radyolojik olarak araştırıldı. 4 olguda dış hareketin kaybolduğu belirlendi. Bu durumun nedeni, yayın bilgisinin de ışığı altında tartışıldı.
