Abstract

Myositis ossificans is a lesion which has not yet been clarified with all of its aspects. There is no spesific complaints and no spesific therapy required in most of the cases. Sometimes it may help to facilitate, even to heal the fracture. Spesific surgical therapy may required in matured cases with complaints. In our study, the cases seen between 1974-1978, the lesions of the disease has been evatuated in the light of literature.

Abstract

Myositis ossificans birçok yönleri ile günümüzde henüz tam aydınlığa kavuşamamış bir lezyondur. Birçok olguda yapınma vermez ve sağıtımı gerektirmez. Bazan da kırıkları iyileştirici veya iyileşmeyi kolaylaştırıcı rol oynar. Yakınma veren matürasyonunu tamamlamış olguların sağıtımı ancak cerrahi yöntemle yapılabilir. 1974-1978 yılları arasındaki olgularımıza dayanarak literatür bilgisi ışığı altında lezyonu incelemeye çalıştık.
