Kahramanmaraş’ta Bulunmuş İki Yeni Asurca Tablet

Abstract

Bu çalışmada ele alınan iki belge, Yeni Asur Dönemine aittir. Tabletler, köle satışlarını konu alan satış sözleşmesidir. Belgelerde görülen ifade tarzı, bu tür Yeni Asur tabletlerinin genelinde görülen Tanıtılan belgelerin ikisinde de limmum ismi ve tarih kayıtlıdır. Bununla birlikte bir numaralı metinde ilk defa karşılaşılan ve Kahramanmaraş' ın o dönemdeki muhtemel adı olan bir yer adı da geçmektedir. Tabletlerin kaynağı hakkında bilgi sahibi olunması nedeniyle, lokalizasyon hakkında bir teklif vermemiz mümkün olmaktadır

Abstract

Two Neo-Assyrian Tablets Found in K ahram anm araşThe two texts which have been taken as the subject matter of this article belong to the New Assyrian Period. They consist of contracts defining the conditions and procedure of slave-trade in each separate case. The way o f wording and expressions used in these documents are peculiarly similar tothose of the New Assyrian texts. In both of them eponyms and dates are recorded. Furthermore, in the first text there is a word o f place name, which occurs for the first time here and might be the name of Kahramanmaraş o f that time. As the locality where the tablet was found is known for certain, this possibility seems to be quite high
