Abstract

ana kaspim anrilm Samas-abT qatatum"Samas-abT is guarantor for this Silver"Here we want to introduce the six new documents belonging to the archive o f Sü-Kittum’s son Ennum-Assur which were found in 1963 excavation season. Three o f thedocuments are evaluated with their envelopes. As the envelopes o f the remaining three have not been found, only the tablets are analysed. Especially, two main topics are mentioned in the documents. The first is the trading issues between EnnumAssur and his wife Saptamanika with Iya's son llı-bâni. The second is the close trading connections o f Samas-abT and his guarantee for Ennum-Assur" s family and also the events related to this subject. Whole o f the tablets are reflecting the economic depression which the Ennum-Assur's family fell into

Abstract

Bu makalemizde 1963 yılı kazı sezonunda bulunmuş, Sü-Kittum 'un oğlu Ennum-Assur'un arşivine ait altı adet yeni belgeyi tanıtmak istiyoruz. Belgelerden üçü zarfıyla birlikte değerlendirilmektedir. Diğer üç metne ait herhangi bir zarf parçası ele geçmediğinden, sadece tabletler işlenmiştir. Metinlerde temel olarak iki konu üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bunlardan ilki, Ennum-Assur ve karısı Saptamanika'nın, Iya'nın oğlu IU-bâni ile olan ticarî ilişkileri, diğeri ise, bu aileyle yakın ticarî bağlantıları olan Samas-abVnin, EnnumAssur ailesine kefilliği ve sonrasında gelişen olaylardır.
