Öz

The Hittites, the only great empire of ancient Anatolian history, contributed to the enlightenment of history with the countless artefacts they left. The clearest information about the Hittites can be found in the cuneiform texts inherited from them. These documents contain many different types of texts. One of the subjects mentioned in these texts is weaving products. Among these are the types of clothes worn by the royal family. The special clothes of the king, queen, prince or the clothes made available for them in a ceremony, ritual or feast are frequently mentioned in Hittite texts. In the Hittites, there are certain phases of a ceremony, ritual or feast. Everything is carried out in an orderly and systematic manner. The tasks to be performed by the people involved in the practices are also clear. In some documents it is also clear what the royal family will do from the morning onwards. Of course, the types of clothes they will wear are also mentioned. In this article, the types of clothes worn by the Hittite royal family during ceremonies and similar practices will be discussed. Information about these will be given and the article will be supported by translations of various cuneiform documents. In addition to the Hittite clothing types, there are also Sumerian words among the mentioned clothes. The closeness of these Hittite and Sumerian clothes to each other will be expressed on the basis of the opinions of various authors.

HİTİTLERDE KRALİYET AİLESİNİN TÖREN GİYSİLERİ

Öz

Eski Anadolu tarihinin tek büyük imparatorluğu olan Hititler, bıraktıkları sayısız eserlerle tarihin aydınlatılmasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Hititler ile ilgili en net bilgilere, onlardan miras kalan çivi yazılı metinler sayesinde ulaşılabilir. Bu belgelerde farklı türden birçok metin yer almaktadır. Bu metinler içerisinde zikredilen konulardan birisi, dokuma ürünleridir. Bunlar arasında kraliyet ailesinin giydiği kıyafet türleri de bulunmaktadır. Krala, kraliçeye, prense özel kıyafetler veya onlar için bir törende, ayinde veya bayramda hazır bulundurulan bu giysiler, Hitit metinlerinde sıkça zikredilmiştir. Hititlerde bir tören, ayin veya bayram uygulamasının belirli evreleri söz konusudur. Her şey bir düzen içerisinde ve sistemli bir şekilde gerçekleştirilir. Uygulamalarda yer alan kimselerin yapacakları görevler de bellidir. Ayrıca kimi belgede kraliyet ailesinin sabahtan itibaren neler yapacağı da nettir. Elbette giyecekleri kıyafet türlerine de değinilmiştir. Bu makalede, Hitit kraliyet ailesinin törenler ve benzeri uygulamalarda giydikleri kıyafet türlerine değinilecektir. Bunlar hakkında bilgiler verilecek olup, çeşitli çivi yazılı belgelerin tercümeleri ile makale desteklenecektir. Adı geçen kıyafetler arasında Hititçe olan giysi türlerinin yanında, Sumerce kelimeler de bulunmaktadır. Hititçe ve Sumerce olarak geçen bu kıyafetlerin birbirlerine olan yakınlığı da çeşitli yazarların fikirleri baz alınarak ifade edilecektir.
